Prague - Day 7 to 8

The astronomical clock tower in the city square of Prague. My hostel was 5 mins walk away. On the bottom left are KC and ZY.

Antique shoes from one of the museums. I took the picture through a glass case. Apparently photo taking wasn't allowed in the museum :p

Cool statues in the archway at Prague Castle.

We climbed 287 steps to the top of the Great South Tower in one of the basilicas in Prague Castle...

...and this is what we saw.

Another view from the top.

This is a chess set that I wanted really really badly though I don't really play chess. I just thought it was so cool. Look at the pawns and the knights! Right in front is the king and queen. It was really expensive though, which explains why I didn't buy it. -sob-

Look at these beautifully decorated eggs. I kept wondering how they cut out the patterns in the eggshells. Wanted to get some to bring home but I thought they were too fragile. Pity.

Us on Charles Bridge. There are many handicraft and art stalls where people sell their wares. Prague is really rich in art and culture!

Prague Castle at night. Believe it or not, the sun rises at 4 plus in the morning and sets at 10 plus in the night. I took this shot at 9 or 10 plus.

Group Shot in the evening by the Charles Bridge, with Prague Castle in the background :)
