Flattop Mountain

A friend (Celeste) introduced us to her friend, Juanita, and brought Shanyan and I for dinner at an Italian restaurant. Met their families there and it was fun! Juanita's sister Lydia is so pretty - she looks like Eva Longoria! Dinner was so goooood. Seafood fettucini in a cream sauce. Crab, scallops and shrimp. Ahhh~~

After that she drove us to the trailhead leading to Flattop Mountain. Boy it was windy and cold! She's gonna bring me back another time so we can hike up together. Yay :D 5 days to freedom!

When we dropped Juanita off we got a chance to see her Boston terrier Maggie. Neurotic dog if ever I saw one. If you think about the chipmunk in Ice Age who was always chasing after a hazelnut, you've got the right picture. The only difference being that Juanita makes her dog chase after the red dot from her laser pen! She points in on the carpet and the poor dog tries to pounce on it, sniff it, paw at it but it just can't. It crashes into doors and the couch in the process. Hahaha. Super funny. Apparently its been doing this for 2 years. Juanita says its not the brightest dog :D

Here's the dog. Its not very appealing appearance-wise but its antics will leave you in bouts of laughter. Look at the picture... its flapping its wings (ears)!
